The arrests come after a six-month undercover investigation by the FBI’s joint terrorism task force.

The task force, which got a tip that a group of young men who were self-described anarchists with connections to the group Occupy Cleveland were talking up and brainstorming about possible acts of violence.

Douglas Wright, Brandon Baxter, Anthony Hayne, Connor Stevens and Joshua Stafford allegedly wanted to strike a blow against corporate greed.

The FBI began connecting with them October 21.

Feb. 20 was when they heard the first talk of buying and using explosives concocted from the Anarchist Cook Book.

On April 1, a deal was struck for C-4 explosives, gas masks and protective vests.

On April 19, the Brecksville Bridge was picked as the target.

On April 29, the fake explosives were delivered.

On April 30, the arrests were made.
