First Lady Michelle Obama will be featured on a special edition of the nationally syndicated Café Mocha Radio Show this weekend.
Mrs. Obama shares a special message for African American women during her interview with show hosts Loni Love, MC Lyte andAngelique Perrin in the interview, which begins airing on Friday.
With healthcare reform being a focal point in the upcoming presidential election, the First Lady urged women to “own their power” and understand that the ability to make decisions about their reproductive health is at serious risk.
Mrs. Obama also shared her insight regarding the positive impact of her husband, President Barack Obama’s healthcare reform.
The First Lady also praised the efforts of mothers nationwide – both single and married – who strive to achieve a healthy balance in juggling their family and careers.
Additionally, the Mrs. Obama also discussed the importance of family, voter rights and sisterhood on the weekly weekend syndicated show.
