Larger-than-life talk show host Wendy Williams has never been shy about telling the world what she loves—or hates. Recently, it became clear that the ladies of Mary Mary are on the outspoken media personality’s “love” list. Wendy was caught on camera grooving to one of their biggest hits, “Shackles.”

In a video titled “After Show: Staff Picture Day,” as she was backstage getting her praise on, Wendy expressed interest in Erica and Tina’s self-titled WE tv reality show. Clearly unaware that Season 2 premiered on Dec. 6, she queried, “Is that coming back?”

Then, her brief Mary Mary praise fest ended with, “I like those girls.”

The gospel powerhouses have twice appeared on Wendy Williams’ high-rated gab fest that focuses heavily on celebrity news, gossip, and interviews–a testament to their crossover appeal.Wendy Williams is not the only mainstream celebrity with a publicized fondness for the famous sisters. In July, pop superstar Rihanna tweeted the lyrics to Mary Mary’s song, “Be Happy” from their 2001 album, “Thankful.”

“God bless Mary Mary!!! They SANGUH!!!!!!!!!” wrote Rihanna, known for her fluctuations between “good girl gone bad” and bad girl giving God glory. Even pop singer Keri Hilson tweeted about purchasing a copy of “Go Get It” to be added to her new summer music collection of albums.

In past interviews, Mary Mary has made it very clear that their mission is to reach everyone with the gospel of Christ—churched and un-churched.
