With rain and snow in the forecast for Tuesday morning, ODOT said crews will be working around the clock.

Workers in ODOT’s district 12, which handles Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties, reported to work at 10 p.m. Monday.

They will not be pretreating roads since the rain is expected first, said ODOT spokeswoman Amanda Lee. Crews will monitor pavement temperatures during the overnight hours.

Power of Five Meterologist Jason Nicholas said the amount of accumulation should not be significant with 1 to 2 inches expected.
