They are united in spirit, but also, seem to genuinely like each other too. Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth
Hasselbeck may go their separate ways professionally, but they are inextricably tied together by the bonds
of true friendship.
After months of speculation, on Wednesday, July 10, Hasselbeck announced that she would be making her
exit from ABC’s “The View” after holding down the co-hosting gig for 10 years.
The conservative Christian, known for fiercely defending her Republican viewpoints, announced that she will
be joining the “Fox & Friends” family in September of this year.
During her emotional goodbye speech, Hasselbeck gave special love to fellow Christian, Sherri Shepherd—
one of her closest companions on the team. “Your protest about this is not working,” she jokingly insisted,
speaking into the camera, since Shepherd was absent from work.
