The faith community is praying for the citizens, visitors and tourists that have been caught up in the horrific, deadly 3-day terrorist attack on an upscale mall in Nairobi, Kenya.

“Nobody’s safe anywhere, anytime,” said Bishop TD Jakes, reflecting on how the Somalia-based Al-Shabaab group took control of the four-story Westgate shopping center Saturday, leaving 62 dead according to official Red Cross numbers.

During remarks on Sunday, September 22, the Dallas mega pastor told The Potter’s House congregation, “Continue to lift them up in prayer,” noting that Nairobi is a place “where we’ve been, where we’ve ministered, where we’ve served and where we have churches, and where we have sons in the faith.”
