Who says good things don’t come to those who wait?
Mary Schmidt was $1,200 richer Wednesday and it’s all thanks to a trusty household appliance: her 1930 General Electric refrigerator.
The contest was sponsored by the Illuminating Company, highlighting its refrigerator recycle program.
When asked why she kept her parents’ fridge for so long, she had a very simple answer.
