Gospel star Marvin Sapp took the stage briefly Thursday afternoon at his wife, MaLinda Sapp’s, funeral.
Share Thousands gathered at their church, Resurrection Life in Wyoming, witnessed Sapp perform his hit song “Here I Am” with Jonathan Dunn.
Dunn said MaLinda had called it “her song” on her death bed.
“Marvin, we’ll try to make it through this song. The last words I heard from MaLinda was this was her song,” Dunn said.

MaLinda Sapp, 43, died of colon cancer last week. Her “Homegoing” service Thursday featured dozens of tributes, spoken and musical.
