Stephen Baldwin stars in a new Christian movie after nearly a decade away from the film industry.
The film, “I’m in Love with a Church Girl,” is based on the true story of Galley Molina, a drug trafficker who was touched by the power of God and became a pastor. Molina also wrote and directed the film.
“This ain’t your grandma’s Christian movie,” Baldwin told Fox News. “This is a relevant, in your face, hard core piece of entertainment that was made at a
level and a quality of excellence that can compete with anything that I’ve been a part of in Hollywood thus far, so I’m very proud of it.”
Baldwin came closer to Christ and became a born-again Christian after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Since that time he has been a strong supporter and advocate of his faith going to conventions all over the country while spreading the word of Jesus Christ.
