Election Day is Tuesday and the polls will be open in Cuyahoga County from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
There are several key issues on the ballot, including the following:
· Issue 1: Health and Human Services levy increase that, if passed, will continue to provide services to people during a crisis or trauma
· Issue 79: A renewal levy for the Cleveland Public Library
· Issue 80: A renewal levy to fund the Cleveland Metroparks, including the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
· Issue 82: A renewal levy to fund the Port Authority
Also in Cleveland, the race for mayor is a battle between two democrats. Incumbent Mayor Frank G. Jackson and businessman Ken Lanci, who has argued the mayor doesn’t deserve a third term in office.
