Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park is on track to open in mid-December.
And, while the finishing touches are being put on the outside, hundreds of workers are still needed to run the operations inside.
The Rocksino will have four different dining areas. A job fair is being held Saturday to fill 325 food and beverage positions.
Michelle Scott, vice president of human resources for Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park, said the job process begins with applying online. “We’re looking for our beverage servers, our food servers–as well as behind the house activities for cooks, bussers, cleaners — all types of positions that pertain to the food and beverage area this weekend,” Scott added
Those invited to the job fair will meet with hiring managers if they get past what’s being called the “open mic audition.” That’s to see if they have the personality for the job. “We’re looking for outgoing people that are looking to entertaining our public. This is an entertainment facility, so when people come here, they want to be entertained,” Scott said.
