One of gospel music’s most popular crooners, Earnest Pugh, is serenading his fans with a classic love song for Valentine’s Day. The dynamic five-octave singer has refreshed Joe Cocker’s 1975 Top Ten Pop hit “You Are So Beautiful” (written by the legendary organist Billy Preston with Bruce Fisher) from a Christian perspective and is releasing it as a special Valentine’s Day single. The heartwarming tune goes on sale on iTunes on February 11th via Pugh’s EPM Music Group/eOne Entertainment label.

“I was married at 18 years old and divorced 18 years later because I had a very skewed view of what love was all about,” Pugh confesses. “I thought it was all about providing `things’ opposed to true love and quality time. Life has taught me a valuable lesson now on how to give and receive love on a different level. With each experience over the years I have gained a love and passion for expressing love to those who mean the most to me. This anthem is one way to empower our loved ones with a description of their inward beauty.” Soundcloud snippet :https://soundcloud.com/earnest-pugh/you-are-so-beautiful-by

Pugh is planning to hit the road during Valentine’s Week to perform the song at churches with Married & Engaged Couple’s events. “We’re planning on doing five cities,” Pugh says. “The full itinerary will be published soon.” To learn more about Earnest Pugh and to inquire about the tour, logon at www.earnestpugh.com.
