LeBron James is going back to the number that Cavs fans remember him wearing when he took the team to their last playoff appearance in 2010. He was wearing No. 23 when the Cavs lost to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
That summer LeBron decided to take his talents to play for the Miami Heat. King James also switched his jersey number to No. 6. LeBron wore No. 6 in all four seasons in Miami leading the Heat to four straight final appearances and two NBA titles.
But the next time Cavs fans see LeBron on the court he will again be wearing No. 23. LeBron made the announcement Sunday on Instagram.
