African American journalists both established and aspiring are gathering in Boston this week for the annual convention of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). Replete with workshops, professional development seminars, high profile keynote speakers and dynamic networking events, a highlight of the convention is always the Gospel Brunch that closes out the event.
This year the tradition continues as NABJ announces that incredible vocalists Anita Wilson and Beverly Crawford will be featured during its Gospel Brunch this Sunday, August 3, at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.
“The Gospel Brunch is an event that is always highly anticipated during the convention,” says NABJ President Bob Butler. “After spending the week gaining insights from industry leaders; participating in learning sessions; honoring outstanding contributions to the field and meeting with peers and mentors, the Gospel Brunch is a time of spiritual renewal and celebration where we reflect on our time together and honor God for blessing us with the opportunity to convene another year.”
