Every mom who has shopped for the perfect prom dress with her daughter knows how great it sounds when they say “yes.”

That’s the inspiration behind the new consignment shop in Mentor, “Say Yes to Her Dress.”

The owner, 17-year-old Jordan Martin, came up with the idea with her mom. “Girls are responding really well. Everybody who comes in loves the idea.”

They love the fact they can get a $500 dress for $200.

Jordan’s mom loves to help the girls out and it is great spending time with her daughter. “It is a venture with just the two of us and it is fun.”

If you are an original owner of a dress you get 45 percent of the dress price once it is sold.
