In 2013, R&B singer Chrisette Michele, 31, talked about giving her life back to Christ and finding both the freedom and courage to be herself.
Now the vocalist’s path is colliding with fellow Christian, Sherri Shepherd as the former The View co-host goes through a very bitter and public divorce.
The two sisters in Christ, who have never met personally, openly exchanged niceties on Twitter after Shepherd wrote “I’m getting life” from one of Michele’s emotional 2007 songs, “Best of Me.”
The song is fittingly about a girl getting over a breakup.
