Renee Hornbuckle’s family was ripped apart when her husband’s drug addiction and sexual deviance went public

What you see is not always what you get. Before Bishop Terry Hornbuckle’s 2006 rape conviction, he and his then wife, First Lady Renee Hornbuckle, appeared to have it all.

Behind the closed doors of their sprawling mansion, however, drug addiction and domestic violence was tearing their marriage apart.

When the pastor of Victory Temple Bible Church in Arlington, Texas was found guilty of raping and drugging three women—two of which were members of his church—the truth about who he was spilled out into the streets.

It also gave further credence to the statement “There are some things money can’t buy.” Among those priceless things are integrity, real love and happiness.

The formerly respected and beloved leader of a 2,000-member congregation is now a disgraced rapist, sentenced to 15 years in prison.
