Grammy nominated singer and writer Maysa joined guest host Jeff Johnson on “NewsOne Now” to discuss her first Christmas album, “A Very Maysa Christmas” and some of her upcoming music projects.

During their chat, Maysa explained she was saving money to make “A Very Maysa Christmas” so that she could own the album. This way, every year her son would receive income once she leaves the earth. Her record label, Shanachie struck a deal with her to fund the album and once 20,000 units are sold, ownership of the album would revert back to Maysa and her son.

Listen to their entire conversation below and be sure to purchase “A Very Maysa Christmas.”
