1. THANKSGIVING TRAVEL

Bye bye, storms: Here’s another reason to give thanks: The nasty storm’s behind us. It was a hellish holiday travel night yesterday, with hundreds of flights canceled and thousands delayed by a punishing nor’easter. But the silver lining for Thanksgiving Day? The storms are leaving and conditions should return to normal.

2. BLACK FRIDAY

Monetary protests:  With #BlackoutBlackFriday, a group of blacks are urging African-Americans to use their economic clout to protest police brutality be outdated or of poorer quality.

3. FERGUSON PROTESTS

Calmer night: Perhaps it was the biting cold or maybe because it was Thanksgiving. But Ferguson was much calmer this morning than it has been the past two days. A few dozen protesters showed up outside police headquarters and fired obscenities at National Guard standing watch outside the police department’s offices. But there were no incidents, no confrontations between the two sides.
