According to the FirstEnergy outage map, a total of more than 20,000 people are without power in Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties.
Another 5,000 to 10,000 customers are experiencing outages in Geauga County.
Around 8 p.m. Sunday, FirstEnergy officials say a pole caught fire in Parma near Snow Road and W. 54th Street, causing an estimated 10,000 outages.
According to FirstEnergy, power has been restored to Parma residents.
