This year’s goal is $40.1 million, an increase of about $90,000 over what was raised last year. Agency officials will announce the figure Thursday morning during United Way’s annual campaign kick-off and pancake flip on Public Square.
”We know it’s ambitious but we really want to send a strong signal that we’re doing everything we can for the social service organizations that United Way supports,” said campaign co-chair David Goodman, Cleveland managing partner of the Squire Sanders law firm.
