Funeral arrangements for Stanley Tolliver Sr., who died Monday at the age of 85, are being handled by E.F. Boyd’s Funeral Home, 15357 Euclid Avenue in East Cleveland. Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 12 and services will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 13 at the Antioch Baptist Church at 8869 Cedar Avenue.
Tolliver died Monday at the Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.
Cuyahoga County Coroner spokesman Powell Caesar said Tolliver suffered from cancer and had been in hospice care for at least a few months.
Tolliver was a well-known Cleveland attorney, a former Cleveland school board president, a community activist, a Life Member of the NAACP and a radio talk show host.
