The 2010 Ohio High School Figure Skating Competition was held at Thornton Park Ice Arena in Shaker Heights Feb. 20-21. Skaters from 17 local high schools took part in the event, which has been held in Northeast Ohio every year since 2006.
The competition is not yet sanctioned by the Ohio High School Athletic Association, but skaters and parents hope that it soon will be. The competition is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating, which is the governing body of the sport in the United States.
