BeBe & CeCe Winans’ Still album that released in 2009 was a sensation as many people missed the duo performing together both in and out of studio. That being stated, it is CeCe Winans that is confirming the end of BeBe & CeCe Winans but the future live solo CeCe Winans album to release!
CeCe Winans went on record with Billboard to confirm that while her and BeBe Winans had an awesome time getting together on the album Still as well as touring, they are both ready to move on to other things. On CeCe’s end, she reveals that she will soon release a still untitled live solo album.
“We wanted to come back, which we did with (‘Still’) and saw the people still love us, which is wonderful. But we also realized this is really the end….I don’t think at all this’ll be the last that you’ll ever hear of BeBe and CeCe — it just won’t be going in the studio or going on tour again…I know that whatever God’s will is for BeBe and CeCe, wherever we will reunite…we will fulfill what we need to do. So I’m not sad at all. We had a great ride.”
It’s always a treat to see CeCe Winans live because the sister means business when she gets on that stage! Unfortunately, one of our favorite gospel duos don’t plan on ever getting behind the microphone ever again, we can still look forward to more great music,
