CLEVELAND – Police on the Cleveland State University campus reported two incidents at its Science and Research Building, triggering a crime alert.
Officials at CSU reported one female student was “inappropriately touched” while riding in an elevator on Monday around 10 a.m. A second student was also reportedly approached by the same suspect in a hallway.

ATLANTA — Georgia’s pardons board rejected a last-ditch clemency plea from death row inmate Troy Davis on Tuesday despite high-profile support from figures including the pope and a former FBI director for the claim that he was wrongly convicted of killing a police officer in 1989.

GEORGIA — Raquel Nelson, the Georgia mother who was convicted with a misdemeanor after her son was struck and killed by a truck, will not serve jail time, according to CNN.
Nelson, 30, pleaded for sympathy after she broke a state law when jaywalking with her three children. Her story attracted national attention from media agencies, the NAACP and transportation advocates, who all said the charges were unfairly pursued.
