President Obama travels to New York City today to visit Ground Zero, the site of the attacks engineered by Osama bin Laden that destroyed the Twin Towers and killed nearly 3,000 people.

During his visit, he will lay a wreath at the memorial and meet with first responders and victims’ families. He has no plans to make a public statement.

Yesterday, President Obama decided to not release pictures of Osama bin Laden’s body. In an interview with Steve Kroft of CBS’ 60 Minutes, Obama said it would “create national security risks.” He also said, “We don’t need to spike the football.”
