FirstEnergy crews are working to restore power to thousands of customers in Cleveland Sunday night.

The storms that blew through northeast Ohio knocked out power for around 2,000 FirstEnergy customers.

According to FirstEnergy, there were multiple trees and wires down due to the storm.

Many of the outages on the west side of Cleveland have been restored.  There are still outages in Cuyahoga, Lake, Geagua, Portage, and Summit Counties.

FirstEnergy does not have an estimated time for the power to return because the downed trees and lines were so scattered.
