New Haven Records artist Chicago Mass Choir joins a myriad of talented performers competing on GMC’s sensational new eight-week summer music series, “America Sings!”
Hosted by 98 Degrees superstar Drew Lachey, the competition features inspiring video performances from a dazzling array of American artists and genres. The world-renowned Chicago Mass Choir was chosen from thousands of entries to be among the 100 semi-finalists whose performances will be broadcast Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on GMC, airing in nearly 48 million American homes through cable and satellite. Chicago Mass is schedule to appear in the 6th episode, airing on July 27th.
After each episode, viewers can go online and vote for their favorite group of the week at www.watchgmctv.com/sing.
Voting for each episode runs from 9 pm Wednesdays to midnight ET Sundays. The top 15 vote getters (the highest vote getters from each show and 8 from the next highest vote totals) will be counted down and the grand prize winner revealed on the 8th and final episode.
This television appearance comes on the heals of the release of Chicago Mass’ 15th album, “XV Live!” which features the singles “Mighty Good God” and “My Mind Is Made Up” which are currently climbing the Gospel Radio Charts. The CD and DVD are currently in stores and available through Provident Music Distribution and SONY Music Distribution.
