Blessed and Cursed was written and produced by popular gospel music artist Deitrick Haddon. It’s a modern retelling of the dramatic Biblical account of Saul and David. Haddon has his first theatrical debut as Dwight Hawkins an incredibly gifted young man who is in search of his purpose amid setbacks and unexpected surprises. The film also stars Sheryl Lee Ralph, Drew Sidora and gospel music stars such as Karen Clark Sheard, Kierra Sheard, Damita, Dr. Bobby Jones and Rance Allen.
