Tuesday is the 27th Annual “Night Out Against Crime” and both Cleveland and Akron are among the cities participating. 

The City of Cleveland is holding events at several locations. Other cities across the U.S. holding events can be found at National Night Out 2010

Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson is holding his mayor’s event from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Kerruish Park on Tarkington Avenue, between E. 173rd Street and Lee Road.

Events at all locations will feature police and public safety vehicles, free health screenings, refreshments and activities for the entire family.

The other four Cleveland locations are:

  • 1st District: Backstage Bar, 17007 Lorain Avenue
  • 2nd District: Steelyard Commons, Interstate 71 at the Jennings Freeway
  • 3rd District: Broadway United Methodist Church, 5246 Broadway Avenue 
  • 4th District: East 65th Street & Fullerton Avenue
