Early in 2010, the film To Save A Life released in theaters across the country. The characters, story line, and true-to-life circumstances resonated with audiences as over 600,000 teens, youth workers, coaches, pastors and parents viewed the film. The movie achieved a #1 rating on Fandango, and over 169,000 users so far have joined the film’s Facebook community. What might be most telling, however, is that nearly a thousand teens have written to the movie’s website, sharing their personal stories and struggles. The To Save A Life novel, based on the screenplay of the movie, was also a success, becoming a finalist in the Retailer’s Choice Awards and winning a Silver Moonbeam Book Award.

 

Now, Outreach Publishing is proud to announce the release of the second novel in the series, Jake’s Choice, releasing October 2010.

 

Also written by Jim and Rachel Britts, Jake’s Choice picks up where To Save A Life left off, with Jake Taylor leaving California to pursue his dream of playing basketball for the University of Louisville. His longtime girlfriend Amy, as well as the supportive community of his youth pastor and friends, remains behind.
