The Cleveland Metropolitan School District announced Monday that two employees were placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation of allegations of improper conduct.
“The District is committed to acting quickly and responsibly to allegations of wrong-doing at any level of service in the District. It was therefore deemed in the best interest of the District, and of the staff implicated in the letter, to remove Renee Cavor and Timothy Roberts from their duties,” CMSD said in a written statement.
Both Cavor and Roberts worked in the Transformation Management office.
Cavor was the former Chief Transformation Officer under former CEO Dr. Eugene Sanders, and she currently serves as the Strategic Implementation Officer, overseeing all changes in the district.
Timothy Roberts works under Cavor as the Linkage Coordinator.
A spokesperson for the district said he is basically a mentor for troubled students and works with them encouraging them to graduate.
