After learning Penn State’s 46-season head coach Joe Paterno was fired Wednesday, students reacted in riot, which left Christian rapper Lecrae surprised by their reaction to the news.
“So there’s a riot because a coach is fired and not over a 10 yr [sic] old being molested? God save us” the rapper shared via social media.
Joe Paterno, also referred to as JoePa, was fired from the school after failing to do all that he could to report the alleged abusive behavior of former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, who has been charged with 40 counts of child sexual abuse.
