A fire early Thanksgiving morning completely destroyed a Painesville house.

The fire started shortly before 5 a.m. on South State Street at a two-story house.

There were six people at home at the time, but one person woke up and notified the others, so no suffered major injuries. One people was treated for minor burns to his hand.

Painesville fire officials said the house with full engulfed with flames when crews arrived. The fast-moving fire also caused damaged to other homes because of the high heat
