Severe weather has delayed the installation of the Sherwin-Williams’ Giant 10 Story Banner Saluting Cleveland and Northeast Ohio until Wednesday.

Crews will begin installation at 7AM, and the banner is expected to be ready in time for the Cleveland Cavaliers home opener.

The new banner will be going up in place of the old Nike’s “Witness” sign. The new banner reads “Our Home Since 1866. Our Pride Forever” with a picture of the Cleveland skyline. The banner is said to be ten stories tall, 210 feet wide features a full lighting system.

“The events are what they were, but were always a very resilient community,” said Mike Conway of Sherwin Williams. “Sherwin Williams is extremely strong our people are excited and were moving forward just like the community.”
