John Adams High School students and the Knowledge Youth Organization teamed up Tuesday night to sing Christmas carols and hand deliver donated turkeys to area families in need a food and holiday cheer.
Joyce Hood of the Knowledge Youth Organization said its the sixth year the organization has partnered with students to help brighten the lives of the less fortunate during the holidays.
The students and group’s first stop was on Avon Avenue where they sang carols and delivered turkeys to families pre-identified as needing help.
About 12 students and six adults sang and handed out the turkeys, which were donated by the Cleveland Police Department’s Fourth District.
