A gruesome accident scene is being investigated by Cleveland police near East 146th Street and Velma.
According to police, two women reportedly got a flat tire and called a friend to help them fix it. After the friend arrived on scene, he was changing the tire when a car slammed into him and the two parked cars, severely injuring him and sending him to the hospital. The two women inside the parked car were also injured.
The driver of the third car ran from the scene before police arrived but has since been caught.
All three victims were transported to local hospitals. The male victim had serious injuries while the women complained of neck pain before being transported.
