This communication is straight from my heart and of great urgency.   Many of you are familiar with the conference I host, Always Sisters Forever Brothers.  Over the past 4 conferences more than 15,000 young people have been impacted.

This year we will return to Belmont University’s Curb Events Center in Nashville, July 21 – 23, 2011 continuing our mission of encouragement and motivation in a time that has presented more challenges than most of us have ever experienced.  Young people are asking is it worth it to stay in school, they are concerned about getting jobs and being able to live out their dreams.  The bible says in Proverbs 13:12 “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.”

Please help me bring desire back into the hearts and spirits of the young people that will attend this conference.

Our 2011 agenda will address problems that are seriously impacting both genders and issues that I have personally discussed with young people such as, depression, suicidal thoughts, addictions, anger, absent fathers, lust vs. love, bullying, AIDS/HIV & STD’s, single parenting, how to live as a Christian in a world with conflicting moral values and more.  And as I’m sure you are aware, the challenges of our struggling economy only serve to compound these issues in their lives.  We have a growing list of requests for scholarships from youth groups and organizations in and outside of the church who can’t afford to travel and pay registration costs but want and need to attend.

The enemy is bold in his solicitations to tear down our kids so I feel I must be bold in asking you to help me save our kids.  I am asking God to touch the hearts of at least 50,000 people to donate $10.00 to Sharing The Vision by June 30th so that we can make sure that as many as the building will hold, can attend and not be turned away because they don’t have the funds.  Your donation is tax deductable and will be used with the utmost integrity and will assist us in making sure these young people have an experience that will change their lives forever.  Our prayer and goal is that they will leave strengthened and motivated to positively affect their homes, neighborhoods, schools and cities.
