An early-morning crash involving a motorcycle, car, SUV and semi-truck killed the driver of a motorcycle on Interstate 90, and then shut down the highway in one direction.

The crash happened at about 2 a.m. Friday in the eastbound lanes of I-90 at West 98th Street.

Police then closed I-90 east for the accident reconstruction and the investigation into what caused this crash.

People who live in the area heard a loud crash, and when they got to the highway, they found a man dead in the middle of the road and a female in a crashed car.

According to Cleveland police, the driver of the motorcycle was going west in the eastbound lanes when the crash occurred.

The woman who was driving the car was transported to a local hospital with injuries to her legs, and police said the drivers of the SUV and semi-truck did not appear to have serious injuries.
