It’s been 2 years since GI fans have been waiting for new music from the Richmond VA based Group. The wait is over! GI’s New Album “THE NEXT DIMENSION” is available today at Walmart, Itunes, and other select stores. There has been much buzz surrounding the album ever since the group released their Praise & Worship Anthem Hit Single “FOREVER WE WILL WORSHP.” The single debuted at #34 on Gospel’s Top Billboard Songs Chart and was featured as Quick Pick of the week on the popular syndicated Radio Show CoCo Brother Live. The group was most recently featured on Essence.com as on of the Top Gospel Artists to watch.

The album features a plethora of genres and themes taking listeners on a journey to The Next Dimension. Lamonte Harris of GI says “The theme “The Next Dimension” came about after the completion of the album, realizing that everything was not only taken to the next level, but the song lyrics were written from a higher place, the vocal performance came from life’s deep experiences, the themes of the songs will cause listeners to search for the deeper things of God, and the album as a whole reaches a broader audience. Everything is expanded 3-dimensionally.”

The album starts off with an intro as if one were on a ride at the amusement park, then comes the infectious pop laced track “COME BACK TO ME.” The next song “HE GO SO HARD” is a catchy song, which will have audiences singing along the entire time. To further prove the unity of the brotherhood of GI, the song features former GI member, Marlon Anderson, who is now pastoring “THE CHURCH” in Richmond Virginia. Branden and Curtis are members of “THE CHURCH.”

Other featured songs include “DAYDREAMIN’,” “I CHOOSE YOU,” and “YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW.” The group recently shot a music video for “LEAD US TO TRUTH.” The song discusses the urgency for believers to put on the armor of God to discern truth and deception. The much-anticipated video release will soon debut on BET, GMC, and other music video outlets.

Other standout songs include “ALL I NEED, ” which is destined to be a cross over hit, breaking racial and cultural boundaries and “THERE’S ONLY ONE NAME,” which is already becoming a gospel anthem in the industry.

Many do not believe it when the guys share their testimony of having been together for 13 years. The next response is usually “you guys must have stared when you were 5 years old.”   Branden Anderson of GI says “That’s the gift of God and the testimony of how He preserves those who serve him.” Besides a new album, the guys continue to successfully run all of their other companies and business ventures-BGA MUSIC GROUP-their self-owned record label, RIC PRODUCTIONS-their self-owned music production company, BGA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS-their Richmond Virginia Based Music and Arts School, and SPIRIT OF THE ARTS PROGRAM-their child-care-after school/summer camp music program. Be sure to support these hard-working brothers by picking up your copy of “THE NEXT DIMENSION” at Walmart today.
