CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Good news for taking back your streets.

We’ve learned the City of Cleveland is getting grant money to bring 25 laid-off officers back to work.

The police union president Steve Loomis tells us it will allow the city to pay those officers for three more years.

We expect to hear more from City Hall shortly.

In May, the city laid-off 81 police officers and 42 police cadets.
