CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

New details in an investigation at Cuyahoga County’s new Juvenile Justice Center.

According to the city’s Water Department, the Public Health Department has cleared the water at the new facility. All tests came back negative.

An investigation was launched after a woman reported mild skin irritation after using a restroom at the facility. Reports were that the water smelled like kerosene or gas.

The kitchens in the center stopped using the water and opted for bottled water while tests were being run.

500 employees and juveniles just moved into the brand new $180M facility last week.

The Health Department will to continue to monitor the situation.
