The search for a missing 4-year-old boy on the Cleveland’s west side has been upgraded to an Amber Alert.

Raevon Ruffin was last seen playing with a group of children near his home at 1334 West 95th Street. He was taken from his home at about 7:55 p.m., Cleveland police said.

Ruffin is about 3 feet tall, African American, wearing a grey coat, blue and grey pants and red and black tennis shoes.

Police suspect Ruffin may be with Isaiah Taylor, 19.

Taylor is about 5-foot-9, 159 pounds, light-complected African American, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He had been staying at the house where Ruffin lived for the last six months, and was seen outside when Ruffin and several other children were playing Monday night.

Officers believe the two left the W. 95th home on foot, but do not know which way they were headed.

Taylor has a prior address in Olmsted Falls, but has been known to hang out near E. 115th Street and Buckeye Road.

Investigators have attempted to contact Taylor several times, unsuccessfully. They are also checking his prior addresses and interviewing family members.

Police say Taylor has a criminal record, including a prior arrest for a situation involving a minor, though police would not go into specifics about the incident.
