*Ministry and music never stops for award-winning gospel singer Donnie McClurkin.

After years of traveling the globe, keeping pace with his schedule still proves to be a challenge.  McClurkin’s kick off for the month of April included a stop at the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH where he honored gospel great and long time friend Kirk Franklin at the “Rock My Soul” event.

Fans will soon be able to experience a new journey with McClurkin when he makes his voice-over debut as Coach Jacobi Mars in inspirational animated series, Starry Cross Academy, currently in pre-production.  Also on board to lend their voice to the series is actress, Jasmine Guy.  While in Atlanta for Starry Cross recording, McClurkin will join the star-studded line-up for the 43rd Annual GMA Dove Awards at the Fox Theater on Thursday, April 19th.  The show will be taped for television and aired nationally on GMC TV on Tuesday, April 24th at 8pm and 10pm/EDT.

The 11th Annual “I Hear Music in the Air Conference” (May 18-20) will honor McClurkin at their black tie Legend’s Ball set to commence the three day event on May 20th and will feature today’s biggest names in gospel music..
