Three young men were arraigned Sunday in the assault and carjacking of Detroit Pastor and Gospel music Icon Marvin Winans. The office of Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy identified the suspects as Detroit residents Montoya Givens and Christopher Moorehead, both 20, and Brian K. Young, 18, of Macomb County’s Clinton Township.

Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, of the legendary group SWV, has always been deeply connected to Gospel music. Over the past few years, Coko released two successful gospel efforts, “Grateful” and “The Winner In Me” on Light Records. Her new release “Always Coko is a compilation of her best of gospel songs. The album drops May 22, 2012.

CCM Artist Montell Jordan wife, Kristin, gave birth to their 4th child, Samantha Victoria Jordan. Samantha, who has already been nicknamed Lady Bug, arrived at 4:36 pm on May 15th and weighed 6 pounds, 14.2 ounces and is 19 inches long.
