Many communities are partnering with neighboring cities or combining firework displays with their community festivals this year. Some cities also offer additional entertainment before their fireworks show and/or on days surrounding July 4.

Here is a listing of when and where you can find fireworks shows in Northeast Ohio in 2012:

Akron– July 4, at Locke 3 at 9:45 p.m. immediately following the concert of the Akron Symphony Orchestra

Alliance– July 4, at dusk at the Silver Park. Rain date is July 7

Ashtabula – July 4, at 10:00 p.m. at Geneva-on-the-Lake

Ashland– July 4, at dusk. at the high school stadium

Aurora– July 4, at 9:45 p.m. at West Pioneer Trail ballfields

Avon – The Lake Erie Crushers will be having post game fireworks at All Pro Freight Stadium. Parking will be available in the gravel lot and in the surrounding grass fields. Fireworks will go off about 10 minutes after the game.

Avon Lake – July 3, at dusk, Weiss Field.

Barberton – Sept. 3, Lake Anna Park, 10 p.m.

Bay Village – July 4, starting at 9:45 p.m., Cahoon Memorial Park.

Bedford – July 1, starting at dusk, Chanel High School.

Berea – July 4, starting at 10 p.m., Coe Lake.

Bratenahl – July 3, at dusk, Village Park.

Brecksville – June 30 at 10 p.m. There is a small display and then there is bigger display on July 1 at 10 p.m. Both are downtown Brecksville.

Brook Park – July 15, at 10 p.m., behind Ford Middle School.

Brunswick – July 3, at Brunswick High School when it’s dark. July 5 is rain date.

Canton – July 4, at dusk, Memorial Park, 800 McKinley Monument.

Cedar Point – July 4, at 10 p.m., Cedar Point.

Chagrin Falls – None.

Chardon – July 3, at 10 p.m., between Chardon high and middle schools.

Cleveland – July 4, at dusk. over Lake Erie.

Cleveland Heights – None

Conneaut – July 8, at 10:15 p.m. at Lake View Park
