Contemporary Gospel singer Nicole C. Mullen calls friends and fans worldwide to pray and fast together.
Mullen invited everyone through her social network page, “So like it says in Joel and Amos, I think it’s time to FAST, PRAY and RETURN to God with all of our hearts… So how about we do just that.”
Mullen set the time to pray and fast for tomorrow, Tuesday, July 10, 2012, from 12-6pm (your time zone). Mullensuggested everyone to decide on their own how they will fast, what they want to give up during those hours.
Mullen, “You decide what kind of fast (food, technology, sweets…) and in place of doing these things we pray and do good for someone else ( Isa. 58)”. She added, “Hope you can join us!”
It appears, Mullen didn’t mention the specific reason for this prayer and fasting. It could perhaps be for the peace, for those affected by the wind storm in the east or the fires in the west Mullen mentioned few days ago on her social network.
