Vicki was born in a minister’s family, where she wrote and sang her first song at the age of 5. At 17, Vicki entered bible school, and after two years, she accepted a Music Director’s position near Baton Rouge, LA., and it was during that time that Vicki recorded her first project, Vicki Yoh’e.

Soon after finishing that debut recording, ministry invitations increased to the point that Vicki sensed God was leading her down a new path of ministry and in 1994, Vicki entered into a recording agreement.

Today’s Christian music is helping to make the knowledge of Christ accessible to a whole new generation, and Vicki feels blessed that God has allowed her to be one of His vessels.

Vicki Yohe has been one of the most successful gospel singers of the past decade, scoring such major hits as “Something About My Praise,” “Everlasting Love,” “The Mercy Seat,” “Under The Blood” and “Because Of Who You Are.” She has been nominated for Gospel Music’s Dove Award and has appeared with such major figures as TD Jakes, Juanita Bynum, Creflo Dollar and others. She has been highly visible as a performer on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and toured widely with Smokie Norful, Kurt Carr, and others. Recorded live in Nashville, I’m At Peace captures the spiritual inspiration and energy of a live Vicki Yohe praise and worship experience on a powerful set of new songs.
