Walk a Mile in My Shoes on the Path to Peace Shoe Collection
When: Ongoing through September 4
Where: Parmatown Mall|-7793 West Ridgewood Drive, Parma
Details: Join the community of Parma as they help donate to those in need with the Walk a Mile in My Shoes on the Path to Peace campaign. The global outreach campaign collects gently-used shoes and distributes them throughout the community to people in need. Details: Join members of the U.S. Navy as they commemorate the War of 1812 with multiple celebratory events:
- 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. U.S. Navy Divers demonstration at The Cleveland Aquarium
- 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Air Show Practice at Burke Lakefront Airport
- 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. U.S. Navy Band performance at Galleria at Erieview
- 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. Public ship visitation
- 7:05 p.m. Hometown Sailor throws first pitch, fly over and U.S. Navy Leap Frog demonstration at Progressive Field
- 8 p.m. – 11p. m. U.S. Navy Band / USCG Silent Drill Team / USO Liberty Bells performance at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica
