Are you ready for a night of praise and worship with Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin and Israel Houghton at The King’s Men Tour? The 15 city tour stops at the Liacouras Center Sunday October 7th at 6pm. If you haven’t purchased your tickets from Live Nation or visited the Liacouras Center box office, here are 5 reasons why you should not miss this highly anticipated production.

5.) One of Few Traveling Gospel Concerts

With a decrease of Gospel concerts traveling to national cities across the U.S., The King’s Men concert is sure to serve as a testimony to all who open their heart to receive the word. Typically, Gospel performances are limited to award shows and church seminars. However supporting a tour such as The King’s Men allows for the existence of music to grow. Franklin explained to My Gospel Today,

“This is the first time in a long time– maybe over 10 years– that there’s a chance to break that cycle and that image. But it’s going to take the church community to understand that the music you love on Sunday mornings, if you don’t support it outsideof that format, it’s going to die.”

4.) An Event For All Ages

The King’s Men Tour is a great opportunity for families, church groups and congregations to gather in the name of the Lord. Experiencing spiritual liberty among other like-minded individuals is sure to strengthen fellowship.

3.) Collaborations Among Your Favorite Contemporary Gospel Musicians

In a recent interview with Amalgamation Mag, Franklin mentioned,

“With this show there is no opening act. We’re all on stage at the same time. There are duets, music transitions, various collaborations … You’re going to see four cats doing it together with crazy music production-full band, a horn section, even a DJ. It’s almost like a big tent revival.

2.)Expect the Unexpected

In being one of the most highly anticipated concerts of the year, Sapp warns attendees to expect the unexpected. He explains to Elev8,

“It’s definitely not going to be like your normal Gospel concert. Because we’re just trying to take it to another level. Inspiration entertainment at it’s best! And if we can do that, just not allow it to be church as usual… Let it be churchy but not church.”

1.) Restoration of Faith

If you’re going through hard times and are loosing faith, The Kings Men tour is sure to sever as a life changing experience. Just recently the men of Gospel stopped pass The View to release a sneak peak of what to expect at the concert. Check out the video below!
